It has been confirmed that the next version of the Android Operating System will be named after the famous chocalate through out the world. Google has decided to name Android 4.4 after the nestle product "KitKat."
Google executive Sundar Pichai confirmed the name via a post to the company's official Google+ page. The news comes following months of rumors that it would be called Key Lime Pie. KitKat is a Hershey brand in the U.S., but a Nestle product worldwide. Details about the branded partnership are not yet known.
As far as we know, there has been no transaction of money to settle the deal. Google is known for naming its mobile operating systems after desserts, including Cupcake, Donut, Eclair, Froyo, Gingerbread, Honeycomb, Ice Cream Sandwich and Jelly Bean.
