Kaspersky started blocking Google Ads again after 2 years [update]
update: The recent database update from Kaspersky has solved the issue. It is the fastest response from Kaspersky and a swift fix.
Today when we turned on our system and pointed our browser to DigitFreak's Homepage, we had a red banner replacing all the Google advertisements. We had the same situation 2 years ago, Kaspersky started blocking google ads - served by pagead2.googlesyndication.com.
Well according to Kaspersky malicious url report - the link googleads.g.doubleclick.net is trying to serve in-appropriate content and has been added to kaspersky database after last update of the application.
No official statement from the kaspersky security authorities and there has been no explanation for such behavior. It seems the Google advertisements has been added to kaspersky blacklist and has been rolled out to kaspersky desktop and other software's which relies on the centralized database.
Users who got their software updated within 24 hours will be affected and google ads will be replaced by kaspersky banner with the following message.

www.digitfreak.com Denied: http://googleads.g.doubleclick.net/pagead/ads?client=ca-pub-0359602857707744&;output=html&h=250&slotname=4889252100&w=300&lmt=1338263298&flash=11.1.102&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.digitfreak.com%2Ftechnology%2Fdigital%2F1253-fear-injection-get-ready-for-needle-less-injections-developed-by-mit-scientists&dt=1338263330448&bpp=2&shv=r20120516&jsv=r20110914&prev_slotnames=1781570458&correlator=1338263330446&frm=20&adk=2911355465&ga_vid=2083991950.1337951944&ga_sid=1338262528&ga_hid=1227332681&ga_fc=1&u_tz=330&u_his=1&u_java=0&u_h=768&u_w=1366&u_ah=728&u_aw=1366&u_cd=24&u_nplug=8&u_nmime=12&dff=arial&dfs=13&adx=853&ady=740&biw=1349&bih=665&oid=2&ref=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.digitfreak.com%2Ffeatured&fu=0&ifi=2&dtd=4567&xpc=AME8y7UMdR&p=http%3A//www.digitfreak.com (analysis using the database of suspicious URLs) 5/29/2012 9:18:55 AM
The link has been categorized as suspicious URl, and there has been no malware which is being served by Google ads - It's just the kaspersky which got it wrong.
The Solution
If you are tired of seeing those red banners stating -- "Access denied" message instead of advertisements served by Google. You just need to follow simple steps to exclude Google domain - which serves ads.
1) Go to kaspersky dash window.
2) click on settings -> on protection center click on web antivirus.
3) click on settings and in the new pop up window, click on "trusted urls" tab.
4) click on add and type *.doubleclick.net/* in the popup window to input trusted url.
5) click OK - to save settings.
