Twitter got hit by a malware, be careful while clicking on the tweet links [security report]
There has been some strange tweets, reported surfacing into the twitospehre, which is responsible for generating malwares on your computer system. The malicious tweets comes with the bundled messages -- "It's you on photo?" or "It's about you?" followed by a suspicious URL.
The links shown on the malicious tweets are highly dangerous. Clicking upon the link will get a "blackhole exploit kit" installed on your system which is capable of generating dynamic malware program just for your system.
Both variations are particularly bad news because unlike normal Twitter spam which sends you off to some extremely sketchy Internet store or something, these links will load your computer up with the Blackhole exploit kit. Once the exploit is on your computer, it'll index all the vulnerabilities it can find in your browser plugins and the like, and then set you up with a customized set of malware just for you.
You can say goodbye to your personal and highly sensitive information, just because you took candy from the stranger.
If you happen to be tagged in a twitter with terrible grammar with a link to an alleged photo, do yourself a favor and just steer clear.
