No NBC for you on Facebook after hacktivity [Update]

digitfreak 00095 nbc facebook errorThe tech world has not yet recovered from the hack attacks recently and we already have updates in the security section and that too related to Facebook. The social network giant was reportedly under attack from the hackers and that too using the same security hole in the Java plugin of the browser.

In the latest news, Facebook has apparently blocked all its users from using the website links. The reason behind it being the reports saying that the website has been infected with some malware or computer viruses.

Those who were trying to access the website links were stopped from accessing those links and the following message was displayed - "The link has been reported as abusive."

We are not sure where did the company get information about the virus, but we all can expect that the warning came from several security bloggers who tried to warn everybody about the threats.

Related to the above events when NBC officials were contacted, they were actually out of reach. We are still waiting on more info and their comments.

Update: In the recent report it has been sighted that Facebook started sending traffic to and block and been somewhat lifted. No specific news about the event has been specified.
