the amazing spiderman 1The cast also includes Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy and Rhys Ifans as Dr. Curt Connors. The film will portray Parker as his super powers are evolving in high school and will explore him trying to discover the truth behind his parents, with a theme of him discovering himself in the process.

The film also brings to life new designs of the film franchise such as Parker inventing artificial webs like in the original comics instead of developing organic webs.

Review: It would be completely un-wise if we compare "The amazing spider man" with the previous version of it directed by "Sam Raimi". It has different plot and different approach to present the original story line to it's viewers.

Like most teenagers, Peter is trying to figure out who he is and how he got to be the person he is today. Peter is also finding his way with his first high school crush, Gwen Stacy, and together, they struggle with love, commitment, and secrets.

As Peter discovers a mysterious briefcase that belonged to his father, he begins a quest to understand his parents' disappearance - leading him directly to Oscorp and the lab of Dr Curt Connors, his father's former partner. As Spider-Man is set on a collision course with Connors' alter-ego, The Lizard, Peter will make life-altering choices to use his powers and shape his destiny to become a hero.

the amazing spidermanWith every single passing moment we never feel that we shouldn't be watching the movie anymore. The movie is well timed and has good approach to some of the action and emotional scenes. "Marc Webb" did his best on the second movie of his life. The first movie directed by him - "500 days of summer was a nice and peaceful romantic movie.

The plot has been justified and movie gets you on the Thrill ride throughout it. It has great 3D effects at some points and cinematography. Many critics complains that movie has been a bad and slow pace at spidy's granny and uncle Ben. It could have been emaphaized -- and we agree to that.

People have talked about the CGI not being up to scratch and parts of the 3D being blurry but I don't think that was the problem. The action was great, the characters were good but it seemed to be one "amazing" set piece scene after another with very little connecting them. I often found myself wondering what happened to get from point A to C, B seems to happen off screen for a large portion of the film.

the amazing spidermanThose people who are mentioning that this movie has shades of twilight , they have certainly not read the original storyline of the comics. The romance of Peter and Gwen Stacy was needed because it certainly is going to be very useful in its sequels. The climax fight between spidey and lizard is really a money's worth.

While Raimi got fanboys drooling with "Kirsten Dunst" in a rain-soaked vest top, Webb’s leading lady "Emma stone" remains clothed and dry.

The blend of emotions and action is what makes this movie a great one. Comic book fans will surely understand the reason for Gwen Stacy's romance with Parker. The action scenes are just too great. At times you can feel that you are actually in Spidey's shoes. Andrew Garfield does a fantastic job and just fits in well with the shy , nerdy character of Peter like that in comics.

the amazing spidermanThe major difference in the Webb's "The amazing spider-man" and Raimi's "Spider man series" are distinguishable. The Amazing Spider Man has no such luxury of Organic web coming out automatically from the synthetics produced from it's own body, while the amazing spider man relies on the Artificial Synthetic web. There is a noticeable difference of the suit they both use to get some cover from other people and the no. of people knows the fact that Peter Parker is the "spider man"

If you want to experience a great 3D effect wit dramatic comedy and action scenes - yes, it is worth it.

The sequel to the movie has already been planned to be released on 2014. Lets see what we get in the next part of it.
