ExtraTorrent is down for maintenance, 8th March 2012 [update]

Update: The website is back online. There still is no information about the downtime and reasons they had to shut down the website for hours. The website owner didn't thought it to be necessary to reply to our mails. But Website is online, that is all the ET users wanted.

One of the most popular bittorrent (P2P) website www.extratorrent.com is reportedly down. The twitter post which is posted by the official account of the website announced that the site will be back soon. They have also updated their facebook status on fan page four hours ago, stating to the same point.

The official announcements suggests that the site is on the maintenance and it is being optimized. This sure will provide relief to most of the members of the website because now they know that their favourite website is still with them, -- it's just it gone off for little nap, for better performance later on.

However, we couldn't establish contact with the website administrator, nor they did replied to the e-mail reguarding this issue.

We will keep you updated if we hear any new information or website executive replies back.
